日本とドイツをつなぐ
We bring Japan and Germany together.
Anime Kultur e.V. is a volunteer-run association from Berlin. We create events, web radio and projects around anime, manga and Japanese pop culture. Together with partners in Japan we nurture this passion for our community in Germany, Austria and beyond.
The projects
Anime Messe Babelsberg, AnimeRadio.de, Anime Festival, Anime on Ice and everything that has grown from them.

Work with usWho we are
An association of fans who like to make things happen.
It all began in 2003 with a passionate community that met in forums and wanted to make anime better known in Germany. Out of that movement, 20 friends founded Anime Kultur e.V. in Berlin in 2014. Our goal: to promote Japanese pop culture and make it something everyone can experience.
To do that we run platforms such as AnimeRadio.de, organise events and work closely with partners in Europe and Japan. Our foundation is volunteer work, carried by real friendships. At the same time we want to open the door to the industry for our members, which is why AKV Events GmbH, in which the association holds a stake, provides the professional framework for our projects.
